Dear Students
It is with pride that I welcome you to the Future University! our institution is committed to provide its student with education based on values of excellence, innovation and openness.

We started this new academic year 2012/2013 with high spirit as our performance indicators are very encouraging. Our intake for this year has reached a historical hight. Our new programme offerings have attracted many student. The quality of staff was considerably enhanced thanks to the recruitment of a good number of local and foreign staff. We continued to host student of diverse cultural and geographical backgrounds in the belief that our future as an institution of excellence in higher learning depends on its ability to attract foreign student. I wish,therefore,to invite student from the neighboring countries and beyond to join our international community. Finally, our physical facilities have seen a real addition of two major lecture theaters and a large auditorium.

This year, our students have the opportunity enroll in a number of master and PhD programmes in telecommunications, architecture, information technology and computer sciences. I do hope that as many student as possible will decide to benefit from these programmes.

The most thrilling development is the beginning of our efforts in the area of R&D. Our centre for Innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity (IDEA) was launched and started incubating selected graduation projects with a view to upscaling them to a commercial level. It also started provide high-level training in this area in cooperation with our international partner ISTIC.

So, the stage is set for an extraordinary year. Let’s all do our utmost to put our institution on the rank it deserves.
